The 'Non-Zero Movies' are not strictly part of the main concept — but they enabled me to get started as a filmmaker, and there's a raw edge to them that may well appeal. They were not as simple to put together as some may appear. I was attempting sophisticated things with unsophisticated equipment. There are no absolute rules in film-making or story-telling, and these films show me, I suppose, doggedly refusing to work to any.
